Hierophany In Architecture: Sanctity of the Holocaust

The main premise of my dissertation is looking at the Jewish perspective of the Holocaust. Unlike the Germans view remembrance and representation of the holocaust in my previous essay here: http://goo.gl/XQLdtb Holocaust is regarded as sacred into Jewish culture. What I will look into is how did the Holocaust become sacred and how is this represented in museums and memorials by the Jewish people. Merging the boundaries between factual occurrences within the camps and religious redemption , it is clear to see that there would have been conflictions and arguments in how things should be represented.
