First Thoughts – The Architecture of Eden – Hugh Pearman

pg 19 – (the initial) idea was to use the cliff, to lean the glasshouses up against a wall of greenery, to wrap the contours of the pit, and essentially to face southwest. Eden was to be the biggest lean-to greenhouse in the world.

pg 20 – Mark 1 model derived its form from waterloo. long curving arches of varying sizes set against the side of the pit allowed a varying and undulating roofline.
